Passion for The Game

Over the past several years I’ve had the privilege to work with some great friends at a local Fighting Game Club, the GetGood FGC. They’re a group of people who have an immeasurable adoration of competitive fighter games and pour everything they’ve got into providing an incredible experience to people in the area looking to compete or just get into the games on a Wednesday night.

Deals with local arcade bars like Quarters or the small-town ring Reyes K.O. Boxing Gym provide an outlet for attendees to play games in really unique and exciting environments, cultivating a community of respect and love that you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. There’s a lot of true passion here, and it’s been fantastic to work with them as a photographer, pitching a few articles to their Socials as well.

Teaming up with local esports organization Space Station Gaming and picking up multiple partner deals with big-hitter brands such as HyperX and Angel’s Envy Heaven Hill Distillery, the squad is certainly on the rise with the bones of an esports org with a heart of gold at it’s core.
